Due to COVID-19, the CVTM is not holding any events during 2020.
We are still open, and visitors can make requests for small group tours with the museum Curator for a fee.
The book, Connecticut Valley Tobacco, was released in stores and on Amazon.com in 2016.
This local history book tells the history and legacy of Cigar Tobacco in New England. The focus of the book is on the long history of cigar tobacco and to share how it is relevant in modern times.
The book features a driving tour component. Each chapter will have a historic and fun location
so that readers can see the legacy and continuation of the Connecticut River Valley tobacco in person.
Books will be available for purchase for $23.40 (including tax) at the events.
The proceeds from the sale of the book go towards the Connecticut Valley Tobacco Historical Society.
The author can be scheduled for talks.
Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about the price of the talks.
If you are interested in having our Curator do a talk in a classroom or a cigar shop, please inquire about the donation fee.
